I have a friend who is really good at airbrushing and he's willing to do my guitar for really cheap so i figured why not. Only thing is i can't think of anything really awesome to have him paint on it. Its your typical ibanez RG shape and I'm open to anything really as long as its badass. If anyone has any sweet ideas post em up. If i can't decide on a good airbrush design, im gonna try to get it painted this color....

Some bright colors here will look great..I really like the guitars color and look right now though (haven't seen many guitars with such finish) so I would think twice before doing any airbrushing smile.gif

Bogdan, he posted a picture of a guitar of the colour of choice, but that guitar is a Music Man, and he's got an Ibanez RG. wink.gif

How cool is this guitar ?! cool.gif

You need to tell us more about what genre you would like.

Goth, fantasy, abstract, ...

Try and search Google Images for 'guitar paintjob' - and prepared to be inspired. wink.gif

I think I'm in love with the Dime-O-Flame paintjob .. laugh.gif

i was originally thinking about some flames starting from the bridge end over a black finish. maybe somthing like that more of an abstract kind of theme. Not too over the top really and it would be mostly on the front of the guitar. the more i look at the petrucci limited color the more i like it though, I have to pay more to get that fancy color with the metallic in in though.

edit... oh and reason for considering a new paint job is that the finish is starting to dull and turn white-ish around the places my arm or hand contacts the body. Its loosing some of its shine and just generally looking dull.

This is just me, but I think it would be cool to have a diagonal line going through it from top left to bottom right. On the top side it would be blue, and the bottom white.

When I picture it it's on a double cutaway guitar, I guess the RG has the shape I'm thinking of but that guitar in the first post seems a little is too rounded for what I picture.

BUT THIS IS JUST ME. It's your guitar tongue.gif
