> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Ram! This is a killer lesson and I have to say that you are very close to master it. The overall lesson is sounding good but there are some details to improve.

00:00 to 00:12: If you check the main video, you will notice that Adrian focuses his picking on the lower string to get that cool sound. Also pay attention to timing in this part.

00:12 to 00:22: This part is the one that need more adjustment. The open 6 string is played with palm muting, and notes played in the 5th string sound different compared to what you are playing. Review the slow videos.

00:22 to 00:45: This part sounds good, but there are some parts that are played with palm muting to get a more Thrash style rhythm. Check it out!

00:55 to 01:05: The same than at 00:12, you are not playing the notes in the 5th string with the correct timing.

01:10 to end: Adjust timing a bit.

Once again, this is not a bad take, you are very close. Focus on the things that I marked and you will be master it.

Keep on rocking!

Very nice man! Gabriel probably brought out everything most important on this lesson. Your playing is getting tighter and more consistent. Well done smile.gif
