Hi Gab,

Amazing blues
I love the adding hamonic minor scale that Eric Gales play.
Joe responds with this same scale,
It's a great idea

That was great! I don't usually go for the shreddy blues thing but those two guys make it work musically.
Gales has a lot of jazz in his playing but he doesn't make it "sound like jazz".
To reference another thread ... this is a perfect example of playing with feeling. Look at how thrilled they are to be up there doing it. It comes out in the music. A totally joyous experience.

Yeah! It gives the tune a Purple/Rainbow feel. I can hear some "Gates of Babylon" vibes.

Yes, I agree with everything you said. It's interesting to hear how Gales incorporates his Jazz knowledge into blues and still sounds totally bluesy and rocker.

Nice! Awesome to see two of my favorite blues rockers on the same stage together. I have been a fan of both of them for a long time. Gales is known to blend other styles into his blues style, a little jazz with the occasional splash of classical elements as well. It's great to hear him active again after a struggle with substance abuse.

That was brilliant, thanks for sharing Gab, it's great to see two masters of their craft, working together, understanding each other and coming up with something like that cool.gif cool.gif

I remember Gales from a while ago, never really got any of his material but watched a lot on YT etc. This has brought him back onto my radar and I found this. The rest of the album is good too, but Gales and Wylde is something I didn't expect to find cool.gif
