GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Harvard Genetic History Study

Posted by: Todd Simpson Sep 15 2021, 01:44 AM

This is NOT guitar related but I thought it was very interesting. it's a presentation at Harvard University. They discovered that light pigmentation in humans is a fairly recent development and that we evidently "mixed" with Neandrathals more than we thought. it was this blending that gave us some of our most useful traits. It was thought for a long time that this mixing never took place.

Anyone else interested in archeology and history?

Hi,

I am also interested in our past, especially pre-history and Neanderthals

Me too!! smile.gif It's a bit of a hobby. I thought this vid was great. The further they go back, the more they find out they were entirely wrong about our early origins. smile.gif It now appears that there was quite a bit of, shall we say, intermingling of various genetic groups.
