I know it's an older song, but you are working out of your home studio and i"m guessing they were working with a producer in a facility. Despite that, everything about yours sounds just way better. Super congrats. Your skills as a producer have gotten really impressive!!! Many bands do this to make it a pinch easier on the singer. If you've ever played with guitar down a whole step, it makes bends quite a bit easier, though I did have to put 9's back on my guitar when I tuned down a whole step. You really have impressive pipes there my friend!! Any band ould be lucky to have you and you can probably outshine the guitarist in any band you join. One piece of advice. Don't outplay the other player. i did that in Gnostic and it cost me big. SOME Original members can be very sensitive hen someone shows up and outplays them.
