It has endless possibilities and sound great when recording to computer, but I don't know how it sounds live through the foot controller and laptop. Yes the effects are sintetic but it is very PnP and straightforward. With one paying you literaly get everything you need to get started with recording on home computer. Its basically a 1/4" guitar cable that plugs into the guitar, then plugs striaght into the USB on your computer. It comes with software that models amps/effects, it's pretty cool.
