GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Should I Buy These?

Posted by: shellshock1911 May 23 2008, 12:24 AM

Do these tickets look like a rip off, obviously the picture is legit, but still the guy has never sold anything before, but again, I guess everyone has to sell something to start off, he has no NEGATIVE, so I don't know what to do, my parents said it might be a rip off. Help please!

The seller has some many positive feedbacks PLUS you can ask him where he bought it, or maybe ask for other pictures if you have a doubt.
But I think, there shouldn't be any problem with those tickets.

Well, They Look pretty legit as far as tickets go, the pics are backwards??? pretty wierd. But the tickets seemed to have cost $32 each to start, so for him to get $100 for both is a $36 profit not a bad deal for him. It would most likely be a ripoff if they were really cheap.

I would go for it, the guy has no negative feedback, and I know people who have bought tickets off ebay and it worked out smile.gif so i think u should go for it.

Yes, but all his positive feedback is Buyer Feedback, he has no Seller Feedback, and to for me, he is a Seller. And I am thinking about asking for more pictures....

Yes, but actually that is pretty cheap compared to other sellers, most people on the internet are selling them for $100-$180, just look at the other guy selling 2 tickets for $200 or the guy selling 4 for $300 (like $73 a piece), so this is where I get skeptical...

But "going for it" is like a gamble here, with $100, true he has no negative feedback...do you know if the people that you know bought tickets bought them from people with feedback?

Thx for all the responses guys.

I see nothing egregiously wrong here. he has had the account for awhile, evidently has not used it much. it would makes sense, he got tickets and now can't use them.

but the risk is that he has little to lose, I have over 100 positives, no negative, I have something to lose. he has little. so a bit of risk. but he is taking paypal, so that is a good sign. I would send him a quick email to see how he responds. ask him why he is selling them or something.

although I don't think they will be there for very long, so you might just take a chance, I expect the risk is low. I would think he would be trying to get more if he had hijacked an account.

not the way I look at it. bad guys don't risk mail fraud convictions and try to make chump change, they go for the bigger fish.

Selling is not getting. You have to know how to do the ebay research. Always looked a closed deals. They have been going for under $100 for 2, nobody that I see is getting those high prices.

It is probably ok. He does not sell on ebay, got tickets, can't use them, sells them for an even $100 to cover his bother. Probably fine, I would not sweat it. You might get a better price though, I don't know how much time you have.

Hey man, there will be scalpers selling legit ticket's on the street. Just take enough cash and negotiate. If you want to see them that bad, you will be able to find tickets.

Oh well, someone already bought them...I am not that concerned. I'll just keep looking and if I can't find them, I'll try not to sweat it too much lol.
