Lately I noticed this plug-in is mentioned a lot of forums. I guess it started out as one writes a melody (midi or audio), then this analyzes and gives info on which scales or chords you can use. You have to know the basics of music theory but after that it serves as sort of an assistant if you're after more advanced structures. From there evolved to a virtual instrument assistant. Like, lets say you have an arpeggio in-mind and assuming you spent time with this plug-in it can play that arpeggio for you if you set it right. Or you're writing orchestral music and want to test voicings of chords on a melody it can work like that too. They also provide ready made chord progressions from various artist if inspiration is needed. It also comes with instruments, they sound very usable. Seems useful but also needs some learning to use it at its full potential. There are online tutorials on youtube and if ones interested will be a good place to start exploring. |

I really like the chord-progression suggestion feature for different styles of music.
So many chords and shapes can be discovered with this feature! |
