No, just a way to plug your guitar in your computer.
A decent soundcard would be useful too for low latency. :-)

You can do a lot of mastering up to red book standard in Audacity Skenny. Also take a look at this and this.

Mastering is both a science and an art though and really takes time, practice and experience imho. Personally I think you need to spend (a lot of) time experimenting and really listening and comparing. If you can use a spectral analysis tool to look at how your favourite songs were treated and why - then play with it to see what happens if you boost and attenuate particular frequencies smile.gif .
