that's weird. It kinda looks more like a Jackson Kelly rather than an ESP.
The body shape, the fret inlays and headstock all look like the Jackson Kelly. except they would have an inlay on the first fret, this one does not. huh.gif

I'm agree with Bleez and this guitar looks like a Jackson Kelly.
Something it's too weird with the guitar from your picture. Take care if you want to buy this guitar because to be honest I don't have a good feeling about it.

yeah, I think so. It looks more like that than any of the ESP explorer types that I have seen.
It looks like a Jackson copy which someone has put ESP on the head. I dont know why that would be done but it kinda looks like that.

I have to agree it looks fake to me...ESP as far as I know never made Kelly shape guitars, maybe its a cheap Jackson Kelly but someone changed the headstock just for fun.

Even if its super affordable, Kelly shape guitars can feel very uncomfortable to some guys...like me smile.gif that big shark fin like body shape prevents me from placing my right arm where I feel comfortable (though funny I'm cool with warrior shape guitars...)

it's really near me, i'll see it today at 14h00, mmaybe if it's a cool one, even if a copy, if it's playable, i'll buy it

cause i need a 24fret axe with a vibrato.

i'll take my fret jauge and check the fret and all the guitar and pay it no more than 50€

50€ seems ok but when testing check the floyd trem. very detailed.

You'll notice the bridge is holded by 2 big screws in balance, one common problem is the bridge edges that touches the screws must be sharp so the guitar can stay in tune. If not, you can sharpen it too with the right tool but I've never done this before so can't comment much how its properly done without a web search.

Also, if the trem. again needs replacement for any reason, don't buy it. Floyd trem.s are a bit expensive and there is various size differences on length (where the screws touch). Replacing that part can be problematic and usually not worth it compared to buying a different guitar.

ok

i just saw it, a pile of cheat:

- neck need a serious tune, too much bend
- floyd only work on one action, it is totaly down on the guitar body.
- paint seem to been done with a sponge.
- action is about 10mm...... ouch

the guy won't lower the price (start at 100€ tradable....) where is the trade.

so he kept his cheat and i kept my money

Unfortunately there will always be sellers like that, its good that you took the time to personally examine the guitar.

Let us know if you find another potential one but I just want to advise that such price range on a non-problematic 24 fret floyd type guitar isn't very easy to find.

24 fret ok but a good working floyd makes it hard. They're maybe not currently in your price range but used ibanez rg 1570 are usually easy to find and dependable for a longer period of time.
