Me... Well, I honestly can't make up my mind I wouldn't choose a style tho. I'd make music and I'd let it be my style, without trying to give it a name or fitting it into a box.

I'd say either Power Metal or Stoner Rock. There's practically none of those kinds of bands in Illinois, except maybe in Chicago. It's mostly Death and Thrash Metal, Blues, or Classic Rock Cover bands lol

I have no idea to be honest. Some of the musicians I have seen around here would probably have no trouble working with a newer style than what they are accustomed to.

I am in the same sort of camp as Cosmin. I think it would be nice to leave choices open...just in case things started to sound too samely.

I think that's why I'd choose Americana, it's a vague enough genre to let you get a little heavy at times, a little more country at others, a little folky, or a little bluesy, or just plain rock n roll
