Jul 3 2009, 01:56 AM	GMC:er Posts: 23 Joined: 3-July 09	Hey, This is probably the best guitar site that ive seen and ive been blown away by the instructors here. Ive been playing for about 12 years and ive been stuck at the same level for the last few years. Ive decided to do everything in my power to get to the next level and beyond. Ive mainly been a blues rock player and its really begun to bore me. Ive decided to get into shred because I know im capable of it with the right knowledge and disciplined practice. Ive also got plenty of time. Im a decent rhythm and lead player for my current style and im playing in a band right now. Im currently working on the three notes per string modal scales with alternate picking and legato sequences. Im planning on incorporating sweeping, string skipping and tapping into my routine. Its going to go deeper than that but its going to be a task just working out this routine. I also need to jam more with backing tracks because my goal is to be able to improvise over anything.
