My Bands First Gig In Less Then Two Weeks |

Friday 28/10 my band is having our first gig together.
We are going to play in the old movie theater in our hometown together with thees two bands Laudamus is i band we know very well and it is thanks to them that we get the chance to play on their tour together with the American band Whitecross I had not heard about Whitecross until just recently but from what i have heard they are very big in Christian metal. maybe some of you Americans have heard of them? We got 6 songs we are going to play, 5 covers and 1 original. I cant wait until the day is here Wish me luck -------------------- My Gear

Awesome! Have a great time at the show. The first I'm sure will be a memorable one. All the mistakes, getting used to stage dynamics and playing back all the huge mistakes you made in your head, that no one in the audience noticed! lol. That was perhaps the craziest experience for me. I made a few huge boondoggles on stage and I was like "oh man..." but after the show, no one seemed to hear (or admit they heard?) the mistakes I was so upset about. Go figure.
White Cross has been around for quite some time. They were pretty big, and Rex Carroll their guitarist is pretty awesome. Basically a Christian underground group that got fairly big by the 90's when neo classical playing caught fire in the public eye. Check out some of his solos on youtube. Awesome you're playing a gig on the same stage. Playing with veterans is something to be proud of. I will be playing my Ibanez and possibly my schecter on one song. As for amp i am not sure if i get to borrow something or if i have to use the Kustom amp i am using now
