Hey guys,

Little question,

I wanted to know what a "normal" Ukulele is. Is it a tenor, a sorprano or what? I want to buy a cheap one. I'm stuck between This and This The second one is a soprano, and a richwood, which is the same brand as My electric. The first one comes with a bag! They also have Ukuleles with a pickup, but that's to expensive tongue.gif

EDIT: haha, there are even Flying-V uku's!

I want a pink hello kitty flying V ukelele with EMG´s and a whammy bar. then I´m going to audition for the most brutal and serious black metal band out there. And run really fast if they can´t take the joke tongue.gif

Guess I can keep on dreaming though sad.gif

The Soprano and Tenor are tuned different than a guitar, as well as some strange string placement (the top string is the thinnest one for example..)

But there's also Baritone Ukuleles which is pretty standard, and that's tuned exactly like a guitar (the top 4 strings that is wink.gif)

Now I don't knwo whether to choose baritone or soprano...

Huh, read this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ukulele#Tuning Do the strings on a soprano go the other way around then a guitar???

If you want the easy way out, choose the Baritone wink.gif

Not exactly the other way around, but quite different from a guitar wink.gif
