Damn the top left corner of the video is outside of the black background :P I literally forgot how to handle the guitar when attempting to record this lesson, the REC button syndrome was strong:P

Hey mate!

It's so cool to find this lesson at REC!! smile.gif

I think that you are very close to master this one. The only issue that I note is that you have timing problems when playing the faster sections. Both Sweep Picking arpeggios, and fast alternate picking chromatic patterns present this issues.

I don't think that you are far from mastering the lesson, you even already have the necessary technique and skills to play everything tight. You just need more time to get familiar with the current tempo. I say this because sometimes you play even faster rhythms (mostly for sweep picking licks), so this means that you can play it.

Besides this, your playing is VERY clean and clear, and the riffing sections sound very tight.

This is very promising man, congrats!!

Hey Marek!

So I see you've managed to bring "new vid quality" thing into reality. Great you're working on this field as well. Unfortunately most of phone or wecam cameras will overexpose the light while the background is black. I'm afraid that purchase of a dslr with fully manual adjustment is another step to make.

Now about the playing. Knowing some other of your takes it in deed is visible how this time rec button literally "ate you alive" smile.gif I believe most of things to be pointed out as issues, would not be visible if you would decide to give yourself another shot on this one. Just a less nervous day and you'll be really solid. My general advice would be to increase guitar track volume. It get's lost in the mix unfortunately, adn some details are not easy to be judged.

There are several timing slips and precision (hand sync issues - mostly at 0:29 startting part.

Hey Marek, the strength of Thor is with you on this take!

I think the overall delivery and intensity of this take is great. The picking licks in this lesson are so fast and confusing with the chromatic notes that it is hard to tell if you're doing them exactly right or not so I have to defer to Gabriel on that subject.

The sweeping sounds good and looks good from what I can hear but your guitar signal is buried in the mix. I would make sure you haven't removed too many mids from the EQ and also be careful with any FX like reverb, which will push your signal back into the mix. as well.

Great work nonetheless, keep it up!
