He is only playing 1 scale. And I don't think this is improvised. This is written. You'll get there mate, just don't give up.

Guitar and music in general is an art form and shouldn't be about who's better!
It's all about expressing yourself on your instrument. People and players will either like it or not, nothing you can do about that. Just keep motivated and technically able to express whatever you want on the guitar to the best of your ability...shred or soul!

Jan Is an awesome player. I also guess that this is written and not improvised. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah Tjchep.

Just keep up with your good work. And as Emir said, this is good but you definitely can do better on your own.

It's cool that you are humble about your playing. Keep that. wink.gif
But to be fair, everytime you are on a collab I keep waiting for your takes

This doesn't seem to be improvised and I'm sure you would be able to play something similar if you invested some time in composing an instrumental tune.

Hey man don't be too hard on yourself you're a good player I've heard your contributions on the collabs...you're good!

We all have days where we feel we're no good....I've had plenty dry.gif . Just enjoy your playing progress will come naturally.

The solo the guy plays is fairly basic, sure great tone and well played. I'm sure the instructors on here could do something more exotic!

He's prob twice your age so experience has a lot to do with it. I don't find improvising easy at all and I've spent many hours trying to come up with a good take for the collabs I've done with varying degrees of sucess.

Cool playing minus his whammy vibrato that sounds pooish to me, but what do I know haha...I think the fingers are ten times more expressive than a whammy.
