For those of you wanting to develop some nice melodic Lydian lines, this collaboration is made for you!
I need 15 willing participants here.
Record your best take over the following backing track in C Lydian by October the 25th and get a very personal video comment including tips on hoe to expand you phrasing knowledge.

Attached File  Lydian_Melodic_Development.mp3 ( 1011.33K ) Number of downloads: 409

The tempo is 100Bpm.

Let me know if you need any help!

Once you are done, upload you mp3 in the upload thread!

I'm already in in your other collaboration, so if anyone who isn't in the other one wants a spot, I don't want to take it, but if not, I'd like to be in smile.gif

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato
