From time to time I like to search for rare acoustic covers on youtube and I always end finding awesome people that has record a lovely cover at home. This saturday I found this girl and I'm absolutely in love with her voice.



What do you think?

I agree..lovely voice. She seems to have a very professional looking microphone and has somehow enhanced her voice with a chorus effect or something hasn't she?

Yeah it looks like she has a very nice condenser mic , and it sound like she used a chorus and also I think at some point she doubled her voice too. But despite all of that she sings beautiful.

She has a beautiful tone. Do you think that with practice one can get such a nice voice tone, or do you think it's a natural thing?

I would say your general tone is genetic and natural, but you can improve your tone, via improving breath control, how you shape vowels, where you 'place' the sound etc all the things that are taught to be practiced in vocal coaching.

Very good point here Our natural tone is like the tone of a guitar - it's very personal and it can be worked on so that you can make it as expressive as possible, but it should be recognizable just like you can recognize a Fender tone for instance.

As with guitar playing - being able to discover the natural abilities of your vocal tone and working to bring them at full level is the way to go. Vocal coaching with people that are REAL vocal coaches should be as important as time spent here at GMC with guitar instructors

Exactly my friend. In fact I bought an online vocal program with online coaching and I think that it's been very useful and I've maid huge improvements, I'm giving it a very important place in my practice routine. I'll ask the administrators if it's ok to post it on another thread.



That's what I want, I want to marry her, I already wrote her I'm waiting for an answer. Would you be my best man on sour weeding, it's going to be a very musical wedding.
