Yea it does seem like a deal. I think I'm going to. How is this guitar for drop turnings? Such a thin body.

The lowest I've gone was D standard, I never had a problem with it, but I have BKP Blackhawks in mine.

Edit: Ha brain fart.. That is Drop C!

Even say I'm wrong on the model, I've never seen a Prestige under $1000. When I had an RGD2127z, I paid like $1600 for it. He put EMGs in it, those cost about $190 themselves.

For that price I'd rip his arm off!!! Seriously!! One thing to check though, as it's not too clear in the photos, is the back of the headstock.
Make sure it has the 'Team J Craft' logo and a serial number beginning 'F********'. As already pointed out, those EMG's are almost worth that money on their own!!

I did some research on ibanez serial numbers.
Zoomed in and the serial number is CE f0030457 underneath the serial says made in Japan
I don't see anything else from the picture.
He is stopping buy in a few.
If you zoom in on this pic you can make out the number.

Well it is FujiGen so it's Japanese made, believe it's from 2000.

As Spase Moonkey says, the F in the serial number denotes it being made in the Fujigen factory and the numbers relate to the year 2000.

After a bit of research I found not all Prestiges had the Team J Craft logo (as I believed they did) and some did. There doesn't seem to be any reason for this. The upshot of this is, as long as the serial begins F###### then it's from Fujigen.

A prestige JCRAFT for less than $300 is a SURE BUY every time. smile.gif Really no matter the condition, so if this is in good condition as it looks, you are getting a KILLER deal smile.gif
