Hi!

I'm using a cheap guitar (A beginner guitar, Fender Squier Bullet something) for around 100EUR but it came to my attention i might need a better one, this is a just a wild guess though. For that matter, do i need a better one for exercising?

So, here's the choices:

1. Buy a new one for ~300EUR (can't afford more)

2. Replace my pickups with http://www.thomann.de/gb/emg_set_sasa85_black.htm

I don't have THAT much of knowledge of guitar parts and how much difference it'll make so throw me a bone here smile.gif.

(Note: I'm using Toneport UX2)

And a question to Kristoffer Dahl (unless someone else know and is able to answer, that is most appreciated): What amp/effect is used in the section "Beginner Guitar > Power Chords for beginners". It's easier to exercise if i use the same, don't ask why i do.

(Though if i don't have the same amp/effect in my TonePort, could you recommend another one similar in the library of tones?)

Thank You!

Hi!

Based on my thread: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...?showtopic=4664

I thought if there could be some good exercises so beginners like me stops wonder why people play an instrument which could give great pain and suddenly stops playing.

Just a thought!

Edit:

How come i ALWAYS manage to type wrong in someplace? *looking at the topic*

Hi!

Is it common to experience pain in the wrist when practicing? Or does it hurt in the beginning?

Mine does, alot. The pain goes comes around when I'm in a angle (left hand) in order to hold the frets and continues to spread to the lil-finger. Had a hard time to recover after some practicing the first lesson in the "Beginner" section.
