Hey smile.gif
I use this website regularly, and i think that one functionality will be usefull for site. What i mean. There is many lessons here. Maybe add something like lessons ranking for most learning lessons, witch pass on REC zone by this community. And this will show most learning lessons here. It will be help with finding good lessons to practice. What do you think about it?

Luke.

Hey mate - so far, maybe you can use this feature: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/video-lessons/ Notice how on the right side, there's a section called 'Highest rated' - those are the most popular lessons and I think the system places them in there, in respect to their popularity (number of views maybe?) I think Bogdan can tell you more smile.gif

Have a "most Rec:ed" public list is a cool idea. Thanks for the suggestion.

Cool idea however I think that bookmarking option is already a very cool tool. When I was doing some reviews of lessons here I found that there are many cool lessons that could be missed if people start to use only the "most popular list". This is why I usually start to view lessons one by one and just bookmarking the ones really worth looking at (of course depending of Your personal targets)

This is true, but that's when the mentoring programs gain importance. Here we are the instructors ready to share those special lessons that keep in secret in our archive.

Now that I catched you here let me resuggest another thing. A lick of the day "tick" so we can complete all the lick of the day archive. What do you think?

It is also a good idea. It goes hand in hand with another functionality: advanced student profiles / dashboards. These would allow users to track their completed/ongoing lessons/licks (among other things).

This functionality is planned since a long time - but unfortunately everything is heavily delayed by complications arising from the site relaunch.

We have worked for a year with rebuilding and relaunching GMC on a new platform to allow development of new site functionality, such as the ones suggested in this thread. This is why you have not seen much visible change of the site functionality lately.

Hopefully when we are done, we will be able to progress at a quicker pace (and add helpful site features).

When you visit the lesson you wish to bookmark, click on the "bookmarks" menu in the top right corner. From there you choose "bookmark this lesson..." option to add it to your bookmarks list. You can manipulate your bookmarks by adding new folders, moving lessons around etc.

It's always a good thing to spend some time in here and organize your categories:

- What styles do I want to learn?
- What level am I at?
- What techniques am I interested in?

These three aspects are very important in figuring out what to bookmark smile.gif
