Good review. I've not actually spent a long time listening to them - sure I've heard of them and heard them a few times, but I've never stopped to admire what they do. I take it by the scores your giving them they're worth checking out? smile.gif

Definitely. Own, given your tastes I think you might like them. Keeping in mind that, in my eyes, they haven't put out a "bad" album, The Bends and Pablo honey are by far the most rock oriented. After that, with OK Computer they began to add a lot of other things that alienated some people, especially on Kid A and Amnesiac. Hail to the Thief is probably their best album chronologically after OK computer, it is quite good, but so are the others.

Definitely worth checking out! One of the defining bands of the last century IMO.

I think RadioHead has been one of the most underrated bands in the past decade. They are brilliant at what they do.One of my favorites by them is Karma Police its a very mellow song and i still enjoy listening to it.Also Creep was a big hit back in the day and that sound right were it begings to get heavy ,where does the open palm muted crunch is one of the heaviest sounds i have ever heard on a guitar. smile.gif

Good review dude

Karma Police is a great song!

I know this has been one of those bands a person is supposed to appreciate, but listening to them, I just have never understood why. But I will try again. I might think "they are great, wonder why I did not feel that way before". Or i might feel, "why in the world do people like this band". We will see. I am betting on the latter, but you never can tell.

edit: i did not play guitar when I last listened to them (I never watch tv or listen to radio, media culture annoys me). My view might be different because of that. Musicians tend to like music that normal people might not. I have a zillion Radiohead songs, just never found one I liked, but will try again.
