I've been in a coverband for almost 10 years, and the other guys were between 55 and 65 when I left (cause I was moving to another part of Germany). And I bet you're good enough to join a coverband
Don't get me wrong, I would love to be in a band, particularly a cover band. My work keeps me busy, I'm active in my church & I am also in a barbershop quartet. I just love music. But being in a band requires a huge commitment & with my schedule, I would hate to let my band-mates down. I'm already letting my quartet down cause they want to be singing Valentines at Valentine's Day but I'm in the gift business & have to work long hours at that time.
