Unfortunately this isnt a joke thread. I said to chris i wasnt going to post a fair well thread but i thought i may as well say goodbye. I am going to be on here less and less over the next week and then i will be going for good or at least a long period of time. My life is messed up and i am a miserable wreck on the brink of suicide. I need to make drastic changes in my life and i will no longer be coming on here. But you'll know when i am back i will have found happiness.

Thanks a lot to my friends on here and all the people who have helped me out. I hope you all reach your dreams more and know gmc is a great place to learn and be. I am not leaving because its bad i am going because i have to.

Again thanks to everybody and i hope to see you in the future. Good bye smile.gif

I hope you find happiness OC and I'm gonna miss your sense of humor around here!! Keep plugging along and remember in life "don't sweat the small stuff"!! There are very few things in this life that matter. If you have even one person that you love and that loves you then that is enough!! I hope to see you back here soon.

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Goodbye....phtt!! Come on man, your stronger than that and I know it. We all have tough times that we go through and to overcome is what builds our character. You and I have talked in the past so I know you have been through a tough time. I also know that you are strong enough to overcome what's eating at you.

I also know that you take great pleasure in being around here so don't cut off one of your "hapier" outlets. Keep digging Paul, you are an educated, intelegent individual that I know can work through anything you set your mind to.

Think about it for a few days before you up and say goodbye. We are no "shrinks" by any stretch of the imagination and certainly are not certified to consult, but I would like to think a lot of us have made GOOD freinds here and feel we can talk anytime somebody needs to.

Think about it man, and if you decide to stay, we would love for you to! wink.gif

Paul, don't leave man...You don't have to leave, I know what you're doing, you're destroying yourself even more by leaving everything cause you've reached a limit. You don't need to change your life, you just need find someone to love, that's what I try to do cause people in love often forget about life, their only concern is the well being of their mate. Don't leave, You'll just feel even more miserable, trust me, I know what I'm talking about cause I did the same you're about to do, I've been here for almost two years and the first year I was non-existant because I just thought it wasn't worth it, and if you ask me, I'm still not doing nothing, but leaving is not an option because it's something that keeps the head busy, like you said, if you don't try to be happy what else can we do? If you're tired of trying and want to resign, goodbye my friend and best wishes to you, but if you're still here and want to fight, stick with the people that are writing here not wanting you to leave

I don't really know what to say man. Go and get whatever is going to make you happy. I had difficult times in my life (like being through a war and all that) and I know that I wouldn't let anyone tell me what I need to do. Do whatever you think is good and do it clever. I hope you'll be back here man. Rock on!!!

Confused...,
I've read some of your story and I want to wish you the best. It sounds like you are off on an inner journey. Can I recommend "The Power of Now". I have had my darkest hours this last year and I found the Audio Book of this (at the library) and it was a gift! Nothing comes fast or easy, and I hope you find the greatest joy! Take your guitar!

HEY! Suicide is irrelevant. No body really wants to die - except sometimes it may feel that way. We all simply wish to
escape whatever pain we may be experiencing at the moment. This always seems favorable. Some people may revert to alcohol, drugs, and so forth - and it may feel good temporarily. But, that is nothing but a tease. We all want to feel FREE and HAPPY. We all want to obtain everything in life that we wish with no obstacles whatsoever. But as for death, What does Death mean? Death means non-existence. The fact is that you exist, and worthily so. Remember that! Be who you are. Suffer reality if need be, and enjoy the goodness that exists. Take on life with the same intensity to succeed as you have obtained by the effort you have exerted to become the AMAZING guitar player you actually are!
No doubt about it, you are special! And definitely, God is there. Rest assured, This is the reality... Your talent is yours, and it is what you do with it that counts as far as your efforts. But, who you truly are is the value that is yours. LIVE!!!

You see, OC? You have tons of friends here who will help you the best they can! We all know that life is like a field of cabbage, theres always a rotten patch! But it seems that the only one who can help you is yourself, because all the nice comments and advice in this world doesn't make your situation any better. Cheering someone up is sometimes a cliché, because when all comes to all, the one with the problems is the one to take action.
No doubt this experience will leave you strengthened and more confident when over, this is just one of life's obstacles which you must overcome to find your true self and become happy!

I hope all the best for you OC, I really do.

Like Emir said we had some pretty bad times in our lives and one way or the other we had to deal with them on our own.
I don't feel good you leaving GMC but if thats what will solve your problem then do that man - regardless of how much I dont like it I will respect your decision man. I hope you will come back and sort your problem soon because GMC is not the same without you man !

Actually wanted to add one more observation OC...Take a look at your post number and than you tell me how much GMC is in your life smile.gif...You saw how I am, I'm as bad as you if I may say so but, it kinda hit me, I just can't resigned...Take a goal in your life and let go others, my goal is to be an artist and some how, I forgot about that...You just need to find your goal...
