Sensible Jones put up a thread with a funny album cover, and it got me to thinking what my favorite cover was. For me it is Iron Maiden's Powerslave. No question! The amount of detail is incredible. I remember laying on my bed, staring at the cover and the back art and listening to that CD for HOURS!! It took me a LONG time to find the artists symbol hidden on the cover! He always hid it all the Maiden covers he did. So let's see what your favorite album cover is!

Leviathan's an incredible album as well as cover. There are so many good album covers out there it's hard to pick - symphonic/power metal albums tend to be quite pretty with dragon's and all. Hmm....
well I recently purchased Traced In Air by Cynic and the album art is quite special. Well I like it:

Apart from the Maiden and Budgie ones. (Both by Derek Riggs.)
There were so many to choose from, especially from the days of Vinyl!!
That was when you'd sometimes buy an album PURELY FOR the Artwork!!!!
Anyway, one of my favs from those days:-

I can honestly say I have no idea. Anything by Travis Smith is great, also both Leviathan and Traced in Air that have been mentioned are great, basically all Yes's covers are amazing, etc.

But if I choose one right now, I must say I love Asva's What You Don't Know Is Frontier
