hey guys !!
Cosmin has been mentoring me for an year and there are many great tips he has given me.
One of the ones that i like most is that his emphasis on getting the solo clean. this is the one most useful tip i got from him
whats yours ?
This is one of the funniest guitar tips ever:
haha now serious, I've read great guitar tips on books by Troy Stetina, Guthrie Govan, Steve Vai's speeches and also many here at the forum. There is one tip that is life related but that can be applied to everything, I also apply it to music and guitar.
These are my two favorite speeches ever, which have many great tips.
I have so many tips from Darek that I can write a book It's hard to choose one because all are wise tips and helped me very much.
But I will mention one that I use daily and made in my guitar playing a huge difference
"Always take care about tiny details"
It's hard to explain how I saw now all things after he learned me to see tiny details. The simple notes played are changed in mix of different techniques. A simple melodic line for ears can be very hard to played just with adding some tiny details. But....this make the difference in playing
Details is what makes difference between mid-advanced and pro players Details is what makes some guitar cost twice as others. so details are highly important and unfortunately underrated very often Thanx Monica. I'm glad I could help and our trip through details is not over yet
Slow down
if you play sloppy slow , and play twice that speed- your are playing twice as sloppy
Hahaha.........damn this english
The funny thing is that always I understand wrong what you say This it happen only with you
Honestly I've gotten so many good tips from the instructors; it'd be like picking a favorite child.
Something like 25 years ago i had some piano lessons and the teacher said a tiny thing which sticked to my head up to today: “Play the last note as if it were the first ..”. So obvious, but it is actually funny to see how we often seem to be happy to have reached the end that we give lesser importance to the last note in terms of note length, vibrato and so on ..
Relax.
Relaxe is a great tip as well
