Did you miss me guys? I have been away for 2 months and I thought I'd pop back and say hey. I've sorted a new job out for the time being which I should be starting in a few weeks and also I am far less stressed and down than before so now I feel I can make my return. (Albeit less often than I used to be on here but seen as though that was 24 hours a day it'll probably still be a lot of time tongue.gif biggrin.gif)

I have been practicing guitar a bit more lately and I'm going on a holiday to Poland in 2 weeks time smile.gif So things are going well. How is everybody doing smile.gif

Good of you to pop back and really glad to hear that things are looking up for you. The new REC program is pretty tasty, don't know whether it started before you left.
Have a nice time in Poland smile.gif

I'm pretty much sorted with everything now and I needed it. I knew I couldn't leave for good but now I have sorted parts of my life out drastically.

1. I have a girlfriend 2. New Job 3. TWO Holidays Booked smile.gif (Poland and Tunisia) 4. I have a new life in USA I start next Easter now which has been pushed back due to me needing to save more money and spend a bit more time sorting things out.

So yeah, it's a totally new me currently smile.gif

Glad to hear you're doing well, Paul!

I've got a...kinda new job myself. It's boring as hell though. I can work either at 7:00 to 14:30, 15:00 to 22:30 or 22:30 till 6:00. The last one pays the most. I can work anything in between 15 hours and 55 hours a week - that's up to me. I only need to work 25 hours a week at this job to pay rent for my apartment etc. So that's what's up here in Denmark.

I've changed my plans a bit but I'm still moving to North East part. I was going to be living in Stamford, Connecticut but now it's looking more likely that I'll be living in Hartford, Connecticut. I guess it isn't that much different though. smile.gif Hopefully people can tell me what Hartford is like as I am moving there and I'd love to know if it is awful or not biggrin.gif I hope it's not as I can't really change my mind now. tongue.gif

haha. Congratulations mate. Not big news at all tongue.gif

Not through that advice amazingly as I thought that was my only chance of finding someone. It's actually with somebody I've known for 5 years and it just seemed right. I get on so naturally with her and for a long time she really liked me and I liked her but didn't want a girlfriend. I feel now that things are different and hopefully it works well. Unfortunately she works abroad for 5 months a year but it doesn't matter as I get to visit in Tunisia and it means when we see each other it's more special smile.gif

Hey OC, welcome back. Doubt you remember me much as i'm not as active as some people here but it's nice to hear when someones changes their life for the better smile.gif. It sounds like you're really putting the effort in to change the way your life is, i really admire and respect that and to be honest i wish i could do the same smile.gif.

I hope you enjoy your holiday don't forget to take lots of pictures so we can see what a great time you've had and get jealous of the holiday biggrin.gif. My last holiday abroad was Turkey, which was awesome sadly i don't have any pictures though. I remember before you left you were really worried about a lot of things but i hope things continue to improve for you. Good luck for the future and stuff and don't forget to play lots of guitar

Don't worry lol. I remember you from when I was last on smile.gif I remember everybody from talking on here. There are some faces I don't know that I need to catch up with lol. Yeah I'll be taking plenty of pictures and I hope it's great. I'm going for 8 days which isn't a huge amount but it's a good break. I'm going to celebrate my mates 21st there so it'll be incredible.

I play guitar now differently. I don't think I need to learn to shred on it. I just love covering songs and writing catchy rock and metal songs and I'll stick with that. Practicing techniques is not my thing. I will improve by writing songs and learning them as they push me to become better.

Cheers for the welcome back anyway and see you round the forum mate smile.gif

Haha. I don't know what you call that kinda place. It's like a warehouse maybe? You get boxes coming at you with a note in them, you get the things that's on the note and put it in the box with a sticker on it. laugh.gif I've never been as bored in my life, but you can listen to music while you do it etc. Doesn't demand a lot of thought, so you can let your mind wander as well. Pays better than any other job I've had too. Next week I'll be working Monday from 22:30 till 6:00 Tuesday, Tuesday till Wednesday at the same shift, as well as Wednesday and Thursday. So that's a week of only 4 work days, that's pretty cool, I think. First time I'm working night shifts though, so I'm excited about how that turns out for me.

I'd be worried that I'd accidently seal up my wallet or phone by mistake lol. I'm a bit foolish at time biggrin.gif I've worked in a warehouse on nights before and got paid shedloads when I was younger. Although it was only two nights taking down lights and putting up new ones. I just had to move the crane thing around. It was ace. The pay was ridiculous but unfortunately it was only temporary work sad.gif

She is still there unfortunately. Does my head in. She has a trumpet now as well. Plays Special's covers at 3am. Enough to drive anyone insane. At least she used to play classical music which was quite soothing. Now I have her playing ska songs whilst tap dancing in what sounds like concrete shoes. It's insane. biggrin.gif

I think I'm going to report her to the local mental institute. It only takes two signatures biggrin.gif
