how do u sweep a lick, for example 3 notes in the same fret and make each sound individual and not as a chord...

Barre it with one finger, and 'roll' that finger - so you don't make the whole barre at any one time.

Only have the finger pressing down on the first note, then roll it so it starts releasing pressure from the first note and applying pressure to the next note, until there's enough pressure, and play that second note.

Repeat the above for the last note.

It's hard to explain but try to roll your finger over the strings , and moreover, you could try to use palm muting, it would be ideal!

Great question As the guys were saying, you need to palm mute or otherwise deaden the strings you are not using. You can palm mute with your right hand and another trick is to nove leave your left hand planted. Only fret the notes you as you need them. As you pick up each finger it will stop making a note. Make sense? Try to use both techniques and try it with the Neck pickup as it enhances the sound.

Rolling can be tricky and it requires time, but you can manage it, just be patient. Also, apply palm muting during slow tempo practice, as this will help in cutting down the noise.

If you find it difficult, many people find it easier to practice the rolling in itself, without doing the whole arpeggio. Make excersises with it, and do it with each finger

Sweeping is in many ways more of a left hand technique, than a right hand technique I think
