Decembers challenges are here!

I liked the idea of using the Instructors as a theme base for the monthly challenges so I`m going with David Walliman this month!

I love Davids style, creativity and versatility, I always find things to add to my own playing from his lessons.

So this months challenges are ..... **drum roll**

Beginners Slow Pentatonics Lesson

intermediates Mixolydian Fun

Advanced Phrygian Dominant Soloing

As with last month can you paste your youtube links into this thread to keep everything in one place.

Deadline for you takes is Sunday 28th December

Good luck and look forward to your takes! biggrin.gif

Great challenges from a great instructor! Thanks, Smells!

Btw, is there any chance to get this thread pinned on the main page for more attention? Just because many people missed the competition in the last months or discovered it too late...

I'm definitely going to do the beginner lesson but I may also try out the intermediate one if I get the time smile.gif

Maybe you should add a permanent link in your signature to keep reminding people of the competition. Hopefully there are quite a few entries.

Smells, nice choice for this challenge, thank you !!

I guess my refreshed crown will find another home this month laugh.gif ... on a first look there is a bit too much fast picking in the "Phrygian Dominant" lesson, but i will try it as it sounds really interesting.

Since a while i wanted to work on the "Mixolydian Fun" lesson ... this will be as it says "fun" smile.gif

Good luck and practice hard everybody !!

This is my plan, too. I think there's only one lick in the advanced that is a real stretch for me.
