Hi

Do you know of any VST that plays keyboard midi files, that I have for example exported from Guitar pro and imported into a Daw?

erm.... what do you mean by "keyboard midi"?... you mean one instrument for some keyboard, or you just want to play ANY MIDI file actually?... you have to go for either a soundcard with wavetable synthesis or for any software that do that. You can google for SoundFont, too.

Any VST instrument can play MIDI files. What kind of keyboard sound do you need? Piano, Organ, Analog Synth, Pads..

As Ivan mentioned, any VST instrument (VSTi) can play it. One solution was given by utak3r, to use General MIDI to play it. What sotware do you use?

I assume you're talking about the VST plug ins sounds to give a more realistic finish to the song/composition.

The Colossus library from Eastwest samples is really complete (although for me is not that good)
You can adquire some gigasampler library, they are always nice, maybe not the best but....
Some Reason partch could be if you work the mix a little bit.
If you're searching for some piano sounds you could try the Ivory (they are 10 DVDs of only pianos) or the Native Instrument Akoustik Piano (a little more light than the Ivory).

I have 140MB SoundFont file, which covers all General MIDI bank (including persussion set). Maybe I'll upload it somewhere... it sounds pretty nice as for its size.

Thanks for the answers.

I´m looking for a good organ sound (VST instrument). Can you recomend any free programs (VSTi) for organs? I´m not going to play the keys myself, just import midi notes I can find.

For a complete GM set try Hyper Canvas or Bandstand. For more sounds try Hypersonic 2. They are not big plugins (VST instruments) but sound pretty acceptable.
