I think the days of seeing this type of gear in a home studio are coming to an end. I love a rack full of blinking lights, but they just don't serve that much of a purpose now that everything can be done "in the box" and with great results. Also, the flexibility of software plugins to be able to change everything after the fact is just to handy to ignore.
what do you guys think? "BIG IRON" going away in home studios?
