GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Things That You Hate

Posted by: Gabriel Leopardi May 22 2013, 03:19 PM

Hey guys! Welcome to my most negative thread ever! laugh.gif

I was checking our forum, answering some messages and I realised that there are 2 key (to produce letters "n and b") from my pc keyboard that are not working. I have to copy and paste them every time I have to write them... It's one of the most annoying things that can happen!!!! mad.gif

What things do you hate when it happens??

I hate typing ! The whole thing about it.. I'm always tripping over my own fingers and making constant typos. I can spell, I just can't type with enough control laugh.gif

Ben if I can give you some advice on typing.

Slow down, and make each stroke even, until you can type your phrases cleanly with no mistakes, then you can increase your speed by 5 wpm. tongue.gif

I hate when people are comforming and generalizing things - blindly absorbing other person's opinions in a some computer way of one getting each into another in the style like "i'm with you XYZ" ...

Using Computer keyboards in some European countries where the "Y" and "Z" Keys are switched.
I always forget about it and it drives me insane!

Posted by: SpaseMoonkey May 22 2013, 08:12 PM

I hate going places and people stop in the middle of an entrance/exit way to talk. Be a text, call, or another person.

I think it stems from online gaming actually, because that very action on Call Of Duty tends to get me killed and then I rage for a few minutes. laugh.gif

I hate the word YOLO and the phrase TURN UP. It's such a big thing among high schoolers where I'm from. It's basically code for "lets make fools of ourself and try to sound cool" for all of the obnoxious kids. laugh.gif

Posted by: Dieterle May 23 2013, 06:43 AM

I actually try not to hate , even when it is difficult sometimes - but i dislike Lies in Politic , makes me aggressive.

and i do not like my keyboard when i write fast ........Letters are missing... mad.gif

Posted by: Cosmin Lupu May 23 2013, 07:56 AM

Me smile.gif Well, as Dieter, hate is something which I try to keep away from my soul on a daily basis. But I dislike when people are dishonest to me and when it becomes more and more difficult to get a job done, because of things that I can't control - a bit opposite to my Zen beliefs, but still, I need to get things done in life, right? smile.gif

Posted by: liveOASISforever May 23 2013, 04:48 PM

This is because everyone relies on their cell phones these days to act as their memory. No one has a memory span beyond what they just did so they won't be able to go home and remember if they enjoyed the show unless they pull out their phone and watch their clip on youtube.... then they are like... oh yea, that was awesome!

With everything on demand these days, why would you need to exercise your brain and memory.... it's all right there shoved in your face for you.

I love tech as much as the next person, but sometimes it gets a little ridiculous.

Wait, what was this thread about?

I hate sneezing in public.

Slightly off topic but: Reminds me of years ago when my friend Pat went into a post office to buy a stamp. He chose the till with the prettiest looking female post office worker to serve him. She was behind one of those bullet proof screens which had a gap at the bottom to pass documents and money. When she placed the stamp under the glass, Pat suddenly did an almighty sneeze and a bit of snot flew out of his face at about 300 MPH and hit the back of the pretty ladies hand. They both knew what had happened as the bullet proof screen had its own fair share of sneeze juice....To make things worse he felt in his pockets and couldn't find anything to wipe it off with...He grabbed his stamp, apologised and left quickly...as you can imagine...fairly embarrassed at his ' public sneeze'. He thought twice about picking the prettiest post office worker after that.

Posted by: Spock May 29 2013, 12:02 AM

I hate when people (singers) sound all excited about working on a project, but never get back in touch, so you ask another singer, same thing, then you have 3, same thing, then all of a sudden 2 call you back and they're both working on the same song, then you don't hear from them for another 2 weeks. Then when one floats an idea, it's NOTHING near the feel you hoped for and the lyrics are immature and you can tell they spent all of 5 minutes on it.

Ever heard of "lead singer syndrome"? It's like they get satisfaction over just being asked to work on something; "yea, so and so wants ME to sing for him", but they're too damn lazy to do anything but brag about themself.

I hate that.

I need a vocalist.

I hate banks and insurance companies.

It's taken 3 weeks to get the check for our car after the accident and now been told it will take 10 days for the cheque to clear to settle the finance on the car, and only then we can get the finance for the car we have put a deposit on, from the same people. They've got a big companies cheque in their hands and still have to wait for it to clear to loan us more money. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

In this day and age I'd expect everything to been down with bank transfers and funds release instantly.

This is so sad to know. Something similar has happened here in Argentina many times. It's difficult to know who is the real responsible, but Jstcrsn is not wrong, sometimes the orders from the leaders can be like that, some other times, there are some crazy cops that acts by their own.
