Alternate Picking Workout #2, Lesson By Darius Wave |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate! This is a very good take!
I think that your alternate picking technique is very fluently and consistent. Your hands are perfectly synchronized and the notes sound clean and defined. That's not a minor thing! Besides the details that marked my friends Cos and Ben, I can add that there are very little timing issues here and there, nothing very serious but it's there and with a little of concentration it can be fixed. So be sure to check the palm muted sections (it makes the lower notes sound clearer), those different notes at 00:43 and focus a bit more on timing. You just need to know that we are being very strict with the analysis, your take is very good. Keep on rocking. -------------------- My lessons
