Last night we worked on some improvising concepts. For those of you who missed it we covered soloing with pentatonics, superimposing, soloing with a specific mode, applying sequence and motives in your solo as well as melodic shapes. Tonight we will do some recap on those things and extend with new material. Feel free to ask any questions and I hope to see you there tonight!

Can you say which concepts we will bring into the chat tonight, Pedja? What will the expansion be? 
Another thing I'd like, though I'm sure you've done it more than I've noticed, is more clear comparisons in examples. Like: "this is how Y sounds" and "this is how X sounds" and then maybe "if I combine these two, this is what it sounds like."
Now, that was not a definite clear example I just gave you there, but I hope you get my drift

Oh man.. I keep missing these lessons.. We need some sort of offline thingy.. would be great if there was a recording mechanism.

That depends on the questions related to everything we covered before. If we have extra time I will work on soloing with arpeggios definitely as some members mentioned they needed work on that. Besides this I was planing on doing straight vs syncopated and half vs double time feel soloing. We shall see tonight how everything goes with questions first and then we shall move on to new areas.

I did this type of explaining a lot. For example when I was doing superimposing with pentatonics over C min7 chord, I did first C min then G min then C and G min together then D min and finally combination of all 3 pentatonics

Yes, I got disconnected a few times, but what I was missing was maybe just a sentence like: "now G minor pentatonic *Pedja plays G minor* now D minor pentatonic...". You might have done so while I got disconnected though, so it was just a pointer.
Very good video chats by the way, Pedja! So I can't really point out any "worse" things than the above.

Staffay next time try logging out of GMC and logging back in. Chat should work and allow you to type that way - it happened to me couple of times as well but that seemed to fix it

I can't think of any problem besides lack of latest version of JAVA or FLASH? If you update that it should be possible to access chat I assume.

Very cool. I really should pull myself together and do some ear training if I intend to enter music "science"/studies at University. There's a test before you're allowed to enter. It's not untill some time towards summer, but still...

I think that is a very good idea. We should be able to cover until Summer time intervals up until octave. We will later work on scales and modes in video chats but you will have good relative pitch by then if you attend those sessions.

My friend recommended me a program called Earmaster and I tried it at his place - might check that out more, seemed kinda cool for these things.

Trying different things out won't harm you I guess. The way I structure my teaching is based on things I picked up from London and Boston as well my hometown Nis. It will all be included in books one day (when I sit down and write all the material, get it reviewed and published but this is basically best and fastest approach the way I see things. If I am 26 years old now and those worked for me, I don't see why it wouldn't work for anybody else? I hope you will attend chat tonight and we can talk about those and other things in there
