hahahaha that sounds familiar!

Yeah it's a really great guitar, but if you have an electric already why not go for a full acoustic.
You can get acoustics that will still plug in.

In my opinion the semi acoustic is kind of half/half and doesn't quite nail either tone properly.
But this also totally depends on what kind of sound you're going for?

Try Taylor's or Martin, depending on budget there's also laravee.

Takamine and Ovation also have some nice acoustics with preamps on board.

As Ian said, a semi-acoustic combines electric and acoustic and that's why (I think) it's not the best choice if you want a "proper" acoustic sound. What I know about semi-acoustic is that it's basically and electric guitar but also the vibrating air inside gives it a more smoother, natural colour. You can use it for jazz, blues etc.

I would consider buying an acoustic with some electronics built-in!

But this Fender surely rocks anyway biggrin.gif

That fender looks great but I'm with everybody here , go for a acoustic guitar (that's got a option to plug in)...That way you'll get best acoustic sound and you got a electric one for other type of gigs...

This Fender rocks, but I would also recommend buying regular acoustic guitar with good preamp built in. Try Martin or Fender acoustic guitars mate.

I have been playing around with an Ovation electric acoustic the last couple of days since I restrung it for a friend. I like the sound unplugged. It's a little weird through the EVJ with distortion but it's fun.
