It's been a while since I uploaded a song here, so it's about time..

I used my Gibson through my Framus Ruby Riot amp.
Mic'ed it up with two Shure Beta57A microphones (on the same speaker),
through my Steinberg MR816csx soundcard into my computer.

I recorded the bass with a MusicMan Sub bass, through the same soundcard.

The drums are Toontrack Superior 2.

Nothing was done to change the sound and tone of the guitars except for a mild reverb.
So what you hear is what the amp sounds like mic'ed up smile.gif

The solo and the overdriven guitar at end is only temporary though, but it's still ok!

I'm pretty pleased with the sound of it myself, so I hope you like it smile.gif
But please give constructive critisism if there's anything you think I could have done better!

Attached File  The_Throne_Of_Tone___Raise_Your_Glass_Of_Pop.mp3 ( 7.54MB ) Number of downloads: 544

New version: Attached File  The_Throne_Of_Tone___Raise_Your_Glass_Of_Pop_NEW.mp3 ( 7.48MB ) Number of downloads: 483

I uploaded a new version now, please tell me what you think smile.gif

The tone of the overdrive guitar seemed like it needed a bit more on the low end, But you said its only temporary so all in all, Its a nice mellow tune. Great quality too man, Mixed very well and the end result is great.

Good job smile.gif

Thought it sounded great Paal smile.gif I think if you just brought the overdriven guitar up in the mix a bit, it would sound even better. Good job!

Thanks mate, I appreciate it smile.gif

I really like it and think so far it sounds great! I like the changes and how the song developed. It has a very positive and happy energy to it which made me fell good while listening.

I'll drink to that wink.gif

Thanks a lot mate smile.gif
It'll be better once I re-record a few things and mix it a little bit, although it sounds pretty good now as well smile.gif
I'll let you know when it's finished, so you can have another drink tongue.gif

Thanks again!
