hey guys i wanna bring your attention to a new pedal i had the fancy of demoing

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product...edal?sku=450839

this pedal is a really great pedal and has some things that i have been looking for in a multi effects pedal for a long time, and that is an option to turn off the pre amp. I turned off the preamp and the effects sounded really cool through my mesa.

the OD and clean channels are also pretty good...i had some decent experience with the ME-50's but this one just blew me away.

the only thing is that it still doesnt have a USB connectivity for recording, but i dont think this was made for that. It is a simple multi effects pedal, and for $300 its a great deal. i suggest some of you try it out in the store when you get a chance and read the discription on the link above!

thanks for reading!

I am always on the edge of getting a multi effects board, just to have every tone ready by the push of a button but I ALWAYS end up with getting another analog pedal to built my own pedal board which sounds way nicer imo but is also WAAAY more expensive -.-

Why constrain yourself to one or the other?

I like having both.

I like the ease of the direct recording my Boss GT-10 & Digitech GSP-1101 give me. And I like that I can shut off modeling if I want and use them with my homebrew JCM800.

Or leave the modeling on and use them with my amp....

And I have a few pedals that I use with the amp too.

Options. Dig it.

For 300 green ones it's a great deal if you ask me. This multiFX can replace the whole pedalboard, which can be very convenient in some situations. I was thinking of gettin ME 50 some time ago, but I love regular stomps too much. It's not a Roland VG88, but it does the job well. If you're on a tight budget and need lots of effects fast, this is the best deal you can find.

Bit like Ivan myself, I`ve had a few mulitfx in the past but I`ve always gone back to stomp boxs, they just suit my needs better, doesnt stop me from getting tempted in sometimes though and this one for the cash certainly seems to be a good buy! smile.gif

im going to get one to use for effects only.

Yeah this ME-70 seems like a best bang for buck if you want a good sounding multieffects unit...I like sompboxes more too but this unit can be very useful and practical! smile.gif

Boss products are always top notch. I havent had the chance to try the ME-70 yet, but i have tried some of the earlier ME models and they all sounded great to me.

Personally i prefer having one big unit over having multiple stompboxes to step on. I'm not a very good tap-dancer smile.gif
