This is my first official 'interlude' thingy I've written in years andyears that i DON'T hate haha.

All the time when I try to solo, it sounds like crap...then this came out biggrin.gif
Too bad it's not longer, but oh well, I'll add to it as time goes.

What do you think of this tone? I don't have a POD, just a mac (set to british lead amp sim). Just my guitar straight into it.

Hi!

I think the tone is Ok, but I also think you're playing this with low feeling and self esteem.
Basically as I tell most people here, work on vibrato (Use Zsolt, Emir, Lavendell, Piotr as guides)

Also, the bends are out of pitch and you're out of time.
I'd advice you to run a metronome in the background or something when you record, so it'll be spot on.

Now, the biggest noob-factors in guitar is bad vibrato and bad bends.
I've seen lots of people being able to shred, but having a barely existing vibrato.

In my opinion it makes the piece sound feel-less and not so good.
I really think you should work on it and keep your motivation 100% to grow better and better.

I don't know how long you've been playing, so sorry to be so honest, but I'm sure you want people's real opinions. smile.gif

Best of luck man!
