I recently started to listen to Septic Flesh and started to transcribe their song Anubis today, but there's the weirdest chord I've ever heard and I need some help with it. I'm not even sure it's in tune.

The chord stuff comes in at 1:10.
Edit:Tuning is Drop-C or C-Standard.

I just tried to mess a bit around with it..

It sounds like the 6th string 4th fret (E) in bass and the three top strings being played..

Em6addb9
I guess that could be a name for it..
Not completely sure though..
The minor second makes it sound strange..

It is perhaps also played out of tune as you said..

Hey, try just strumming the first 3. strings (DAC). I think it's a similar riff like Engine No.9 by the Deftones. Listen to that one. The guy just plays the open strings inbetween the power chords.

Listen to the part that starts at 0:18.

BR,

Denis
