Pure Reason Revolution has re-united. I'm happy to see that. This old album is a gem:

I went on to my old MySpace page a week ago and it showed up all the bands I followed back in the early 2000's

I was too old to be a proper EMO but I still liked the music

Forgive me if this has been shared before smile.gif Anyone dig POYPHIA? If you like PLINI, you may dig these guys as well. Most folks probably already dig them I'm guessing. This vid has 6.5 MILLION VIEWS. That's incredible for a video with no vocals on it. It's incredible for any video really, even ones with vocals smile.gif But for an instrumental, it's amazing indeed.

I see a LOT of people copping this guys style of play and tone on instagram. Low to mid gain with lots of sweeps that end in tapping. It's become almost a genre.

I was actually listening to that earlier - even searched for it. I came across an Instagram video with someone (maybe one of the guys from Polyphia, I'm not sure) playing the main riff. I had never heard the song before, but it's very interesting!

Good stuff eh? The dude from polyphia with the short black hair is on insta doing his riffs so yeah it's probably him. Here is his link.

great minds think alike! I was watching his bit on insta and then went to youtube. I was subbed to him a while before it even hit me that it was the guy polyphia.
Also, if anyone missed GRETA giving her killer "how dare you " speech. Here she is as a Death Metal singer. Great remix. She should join a metal band. Her facial expressions are perfect. She does this snarl thing.
