Seems like you are just "Not There" these days unless you have a ERG AXE made by a little bitty boutique shop that costs more than your car. I'd sure like one! smile.gif

There guys do amazing work.

I came across their guitars in my search for Viking themed guitars a few months back. I can honestly say that if I ever make enough money, I will have to end up getting one.

"The inlay is copied from the wood carving of the stave church at Urnes, in Luster, Norway."

That was good enough for me smile.gif

I'll be flying into Bristol around Christmas when I go to see my folks down in East Devon.

OK so here is my story! smile.gif
I liked those guitars and wanted to try them out! Since my contract with Tom Anderson is almost done and I am not sure if I want to extend it I am trying to shop around and look for other companies
It was late yesterday and I have decided to send an email to the guy and see if he can offer any endorsement policies I should have asked my manager to do that so it will be for him to deal with! smile.gif
It is a basic letter that has all the information and links
Since I did it myself I got a reply and that's what I got:

"Hi Alex,
Thanks for the interest in my guitars. I don't know if your aware of this but guys who are into metal hate pop music. The reason we hate it is that it is the soundtrack to the society that metal rebels against. Rampant commercialism of the human soul, vapid obsession with the self, almost non existant attention spans (who's No1 this week?), detestable senses of entitlement ("I wanna be a billionaire, sooo freakin' bad.." Bruno Mars). The list goes on. Most pop music that airs these days, typically documents human behaviours that occur at the end of a civilisation.
Let us for a minute juxtapose these multitudes of sin with the entirely more socially concerned and responsible attitudes that inspire metal musicians. Metal sees the bigger picture. We see a story of mankind. We see the journey to modern thought. We see history, and the progression of ideas and actions. We see the failure of the human ego when granted power. We see foolish, wise, brave, cowardly, strong and weak people. The main thrust of metals philosophical message is that there is a possibility that the world could end as mankind continues to wail on towards its own self made destruction. For someone born behind the iron curtain Alex, I thought these themes would really resonate with you. But apparently you would rather work with Britney Spears. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I would love to hear that I am wrong about you because then I would know that one more extra person is as concerned for mankind as I am. But, as things stand, I cannot endorse you. I cannot even sell you a guitar.

Dylan

"But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

Corinthians 12:9-10"

I would like to hear your thoughts before I will let you know mine smile.gif

Hmmm... interesting. And very true Alex. I as a BIG metalhead, HATE pop music, and I would never want to see a Pop guitarist, especially if he plays with someone like Lady Gaga, Britney Spears or... most of all, Justin Be*ber on the endorsement roster of a company like, Jackson, or ESP, or BC Rich, if you know what I mean. Those people don't belong their, its just not where they belong. sad.gif No hard feelings, but I really like that he wants to keep it Metal, for the Metalheads. I mean, imagine, Gaga's guitarist playing a Jackson Soloist tongue.gif No, never feels right. Metal and Pop don't feel right together to me. That's my views, once again, no hard feelings mate smile.gif

So, I think it was OK for Dylan to do that, because you play pop sadly. He is making guitars for metal !!! I don't think a pop guitarist goes to bend on the 24th fret, and then plays with the whammy bar laugh.gif

That's my views, now, I want to hear yours my friend smile.gif
