Hello GMC!
 This week we will be having a theme week on GMC, and it is all about funk. I will be here during this whole week to help you with questions and participate in the community as much as possible! The Instructor week means that we will have a boost in several activities. I will list these activities here now, and make links to the topics. If you want to inform yourself on how the week is going, just click on this topic, and all the information will be updated in the first post during these 7-8 days. Activities for this week are: - Daily Video Chats (we will cover all kinds of topics, but mostly learning how to develop licks, which is what is always cool to learn )- 2 Funk collaborations, on for rhythm and one for lead guitar composing - 4 Funk lessons (2 for rhythm, and 2 for lead, vintage style and modern style, the lessons will be featured on the frontpage as the week goes). Ok the most intense part of funk week is now over - thank you Ivan for your awesome lessons and chats.
Now is the time to accumulate all the knowledge you have acquired - and record a take in one of Ivan's funk collabs (one for rhythm and one for lead guitar composing). Stay tuned for lots of more fun(k) to come! |

It was an awesome week, Ivan. I havent got the time to learn something from it yet since I was on holiday, but the lessons were great!!!

Thanks a lot everybody. As Kris said, the formal part of the week is over, but during whole April I will keep myself in the "Funk Mood"
We will do some more funk on video chats and for collaborations too. It's great that members can come to the video chat, learn some funk licks, and apply them straight away in the collab, since we are using the key of E for both activities.
