GMC Forum _ Bands and Guitarists _ Sol Eras

Hey. So solos in rock is becomming rare these days for modern albums and bands. So in your opinion, what was the best era for rock guitar solos and which bands in your opinions do the best solos? Also if anyone has heard any real decent solos in rock bands lately let me know i know there's plenty in metal but for rock i find myself having to go back quite a few years

Metallica for me(and justice),but for modern solos I would say Audioslave,almost every Audioslave song has a solo.
