A commonly seen thing when buing used gear is that the seller states that it had a crack in the neck that was professionally repaired. I don't know if a repaired neck is as good as a neck that never took any dammage. So the real question is should I stay away from used gear that has crack repaires on it or not.
Well you never know if it was repaired correctly..I would not buy damaged gear , especially from internet where I don't have the opportunity to inspect the goods before purchase ..
In some cases, the damage is completely fixed.. Around 7 years ago i cracked the headstock right off my Les Paul. Got it professionally repaired and you cant even see where it broke now.
Personally , I'd pass on neck issues. There's great deals out there without having to deal with something like that.
