Jan 19 2010, 07:36 PM	GMC:er Posts: 6 Joined: 13-January 10	Hello GMC'ers! I am from Alberta, Canada. I have been playing guitar for 10 years and I am completely self taught. I have never learned any music theory, and I feel like I will never advanced unless I begin forming a strong musical foundation. And so that's why I joined up here. I play in a band (currently on hiatus) called Testing A Theory. I play a Gibson SG special(in dropped D) thru a Marshall AVT50H Valvestate2000 w/ a 4x12 cab. Some of my favorite bands are A Wilhelm Scream, Propagandhi, Strung Out, Metallica, Bad Religion, Hot Water Music, etc. Im super stoked about this site, I have already stared leaning things here, can wait to learn more.
