In short this thing looks like capable of replicating a tube realistically. I must admit I got sucked in by the Pod HD 500 marketing hype and regret buying the unit as I later sold it. This thing looks like the real deal though, it's a lot of money for a hobbyist but I've been trying to replicate a realistic high gain tone for so long without large expensive equipment. It "profiles" sonic waves or something. If its true this thing could really take off and I can see bands trying to copyright their tone or something lol.

Thoughts?

Got inspired by the doom metal lesson on here. It started off like doom metal but I'm not sure if it would be classed as that now.

Fist half decent thing I've made with the knowledge of how quarter notes etc fit in with the tempo to lock the guitar with the drums. Simple stuff but it makes writing stuff a lot easier with that knowledge. If theres anyone that doesnt know about eight notes, quarter notes etc please read up on them. smile.gif

Let us know if its worth developing this.

Thanks, Mike.

Hello all. I am new to this forum. Been into all sorts of metal for many years and been playing guitar on and off but recently started playing properly learning scales and timing rhythm notes and that. Thinking of getting some bareknuckle aftermath pickups for my ibanez 7 string, anyone got any experience with these?

Anyway seems like a good place for anyone interested in guitar! I'm sure I'll enjoy this forum. Also would it be possible for me to upload a soundcloud idea for critique of tone/drums eq riffs etc?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks, Mike. smile.gif
