James Murphy did the DÅÅTH-album right? The album's he produces always have that punchy sound to them, it's cool that he did this album too.

I love Warrel Dane's voice, though I know many people think he's voice isn't suitable for this kinda music and find it somehow annoying (I can't understand why??).

He's awesome in Nevermore, and he's awesome in his own solo-album!

Thanks for the review! smile.gif

Yeah, In a lot of interviews after Nevermore's release of "This Godless Endeavor" they mentioned how he helped with all the mixing and stuff to get a nice solid sound, I think Andy Sneap officially produced Nevermore albums, I think James Murphy, If I can remember what I read correctly, Helped with specifically the guitars or something.

And yeah, I think he did do the Daath album as well.

He wasn't in Death, he produced the album of a band called Daath smile.gif

Yeah, He did do some work with Death, Thats how I first heard of him. If you listen to the Nevermore song "Holocaust Of Thought", the short instrumental is done by James Murphy, and its phenomenal.

I actually realized the bass just now, When I put on some headphones, So i redid the review wink.gif

QUOTE
Bass: 7 I must take back what I said, I put on some headphones, And all of a sudden the bass was extremely clear, I guess my computer speakers didnt quite accent them well, Anyway. The tone is actually very good, and it has a stronger presence than most any average album, This just gives the sound a 10 now smile.gif

Got my hands on this album today.. and wow, your review are spot on. A simply fantastic album!
In my opinion, Darrel uses his voice better here than on the Nevermore albums.

When We Pray, Let You Down, August and Brother are my favs. (atleast for now)
