Hey there muris,
I listened to youre orientel shred lesson, i like it very much ..
The technique you do at Sample Video 7 is a technique that been used very much on the saz, i already learned that thats the technique that make the sound of eastern music .. going to learn the lesson .. !!
Great .. just great
Hmm must check out video # 7 first
Joking, yeah, those "backwards" trills are seen often on saz,
btw,you could send me one .
Thanks,glad you liked lesson!!
i have a custom build one home .. of my dad .. xD
Ahhh so none for me then??
i have an old one too, you can have that one ?? because your a beginner you need to learn picking the strings first .. just kidding offcourse .. gehehe, ill record someday something of my dad, and ill post that on the forum oke ? with his custom build saz ..
Ohh you got me wrong,I have played Saz couple of times,
it's just that I don't owe one
Still looking forward for the huuggee package
Hi muris!!!
By "backward trills" in video 7 you mean those fast pull-offs + slides? I can't find anything else that could be!
Ah by the way that Saz instrument is curious : at first I thought it was a saX but i consulted my Bible (wikipedia lol ) and found out it's a pretty cool instrument, we have some of them with 7 strings (2 coupled and 1 tripled!) or just 6 (3 coupled)... Just wondered how they were tuned and how big the interval is between the strings, because i couldn't find this!
Thanks!!
I don't have one at the moment and can't tell for sure of tuning, played it quite while ago...
Perhaps Ekrem might help as here??
