Neoclassical Solo, Emir Hot's lesson

I don't know what pickups it's got but it manages to have a very cutting, percussive but treble-y single coil type sound. It's a very unusual tone and I've never heard anything else like it. Your tone doesn't sound that bad... I'm not familiar with the gear itself so can't offer any solutions.
