Maybe use a good, wide, leather strap, they stick more than usual cloth straps.

My SGs are top heavy and a leather strap helps, maybe take a trip to a shop with your guitar and try different straps, wish you luck

I remember i had a similar problem when i first got my Gibson Les Paul.
It was a pain to balance it, but like Fran, i got used to it after i found the right strap-type, which was a wide leather one. -------------------- Guitars: Schecter Stiletto Classic, Jackson SLSMG, Ibanez RG-380 Japan, Gibson Les Paul Studio

Maybe use a good, wide, leather strap, they stick more than usual cloth straps. Yeah, I have a fav strap that's just like that, it makes the guitar sit in place on the fabrick of the t-shirt or whatever. Picking the right sweater to go with the strap helps aswell. -------------------- My bands homepage
